BENEVOLENT FUND

Monetary funds come from the retiring offering after Communion services, including Christmas Eve, and individuals who generously donate to the fund through PAR or cash.

The fund is intended to assist our Church family and our neighbours in time of need. Some of the ways we have helped include the provision of bus tickets, food vouchers, gift cards like Tim Horton, and emergency funds.

Rev. Nicholson meets with those in need the first Thursday of the month and provides assistance for up to 30 people. She also connects people with services in Halton like the "Compassion Society," "Next Door" and Partnership West.

We strive to execute good judgment in using this Fund to help people through challenging and difficult circumstances.

For income tax purposes, the "Benevolent Fund" envelopes are available at the back of the church.
