A native perennial pollinator garden is a type of garden made up of plants naturally found in the region with an emphasis on plants which contribute to the wellbeing of local pollinators such as bees, butterflies and other insects. Some of the plants in our garden include Black Eyed Susan and Butterfly Milkweed. This garden was made possible by the Burlington Chapter of the Canadian Council on Invasive Species which provided the funding and volunteers who manage the garden. Our board met with Sami Mckay, project lead, in March 2024.
