Welcome

East Plains UC is pleased to welcome Rev. Dr. Barbara Fullerton as our transitional part-time interim minister starting in September, 2018. More detail to follow.

We consider ourselves a friendly church, open to all. We have head sets for the hearing impaired and an elevator for those needing the use of a wheelchair. We would very much like the opportunity to meet you and celebrate together in Christian Worship. Hearing and Wheeel Chair Accessibility






New Office Hours Our new office hours are Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:00am-1:00pm

New Elevator. We have a new elevator to make access to our fine church even better.

East Plains volunteers will prepare the dinner at Wesley Urban Ministries in Hamilton on September 16.

Open Doors Burlington East Plains UC will be participating in the Open Doors Burlington tour on September 29. At 11:00am Reg Bullock will talk about growing up in Aldershot and a little later the Metis Women's Circle will talk about the active role of Aboriginal People in agriculture in Aldershot. Refreshmens available. Doors are Open 10:00am-4:00pm

Climate Change Reading Group Our next meeting is Saturday October 13 at 7:30pm in the Campbell Room. We will be discussing the book "Drawdown" edited by Paul Hawken. This book presents 100 ways to "drawdown" greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. All are welcome even if you have not read the book.

Burlington Food Bank Ride to Provide Hosted by LA Fitness, 1326 Brant St, Burlington, Friday September 28, 2018. The Food Bank is currently looking for riders to be part of this event to raise funds to fight hunger. To register go to www.ridetoprovide.ca.
