WEDDINGS

Weddings are special days to celebrate and enjoy. We invite you to share your wedding plans with us. Our intimate Sanctuary seating up to 300, is perfect for weddings. The church is available for marriage ceremonies, and our minister conducts off site weddings should this be your preference.

Commonly questions asked:

  • Do I have to be a member or attend church to be married by the church?
The answer is no. We would love to have your involvement at East Plains but membership is not a requirement.
  • Do you marry people who have been married before or are of a different church background or experience?
The simple answer is yes. And the minister would be glad to explore those issues with you if needed.
  • Do you marry couples of the same sex?
The answer is yes. Our marriage policy at East Plains United Church is to be open to the celebration of the God-given love that draws any two people together.
  • How do you plan a wedding service?
Our minister, Reverend Alyson Nicholson, has experience with wedding services. She will help you make your day personal and meaningful as you enter into a special relationship with each other and God.
  • What are your wedding procedures & honoraria?
This information is available by clicking the link: Wedding policy at EPUC.
